Children’S Book Drive: TBD
In conjunction with Greenwich Reads Together, the Alliance collects new or gently used books to give away to the children in the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich after school program. Thank you to everyone who generously donated to this year’s drive.
Annual Appeal: Fall 2020
The Alliance relies on private donations as one of its primary sources of funding. Each fall we conduct our Annual Appeal; please consider donating and helping to support our programs: Reaching Out Grants, Early Literacy, Tuning In To Music and Scholarship Fund.
10th ANNUAL Turkey Trot: NOVEMBER 2020
This year’s annual Thanksgiving tradition will be a month long VIRTUAL race! Run/walk/bike a marathon during the month of November. This is a great family event and major Alliance fundraiser; last year we had over 2,000 participants and spectators. Sponsorship opportunities ranging from $500 to $7500 are available. Stay tuned for more details!
Trivia Challenge: March 2021
Come join the Alliance for a fun evening of trivia, cocktails, dinner and a silent auction! Watch for our Save the Date announcement and start forming your trivia teams. Please consider donating an item to the silent auction or volunteering to help with this event.
Fairfield County’s Giving Day: TBD
Each year the Alliance participates in FC Giving Day, a 24-hour on-line fundraising challenge. Since all gifts of $10 or more count towards prize money, this is a great opportunity for teachers, administrators, recent graduates and other community members to support the Alliance.
