Interested in helping the Alliance to ensure academic success for all students in the town of Greenwich? How about joining in one of our upcoming events? We have lots of opportunities for everyone in Greenwich to get involved in supporting our mission, whether as a donor, volunteer, sponsor or participant!
Due to the current COVID pandemic, some of our annual events are in a state of flux – keep checking back for updates.
Children’S Book Drive: TBD
In conjunction with Greenwich Reads Together, the Alliance collects new or gently used books to give away to the children in the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich after school program. Thank you to everyone who generously donated to last year’s drive.
Annual Appeal: Fall 2020
The Alliance relies on private donations as one of its primary sources of funding. Each fall we conduct our Annual Appeal; please consider donating and helping to support our programs: Reaching Out Grants, Early Literacy, Tuning In To Music and Scholarship Fund.
10th ANNUAL Turkey Trot: NOVEMBER 2020
This year’s annual Thanksgiving tradition will be a month long Fitness Challenge! Run/walk/bike/work out during the month of November in support of the Alliance. This is a great family event and major Alliance fundraiser. This year we will be conducting a number of contests and offering prizes. Categories include: School competitions, Personal fundraising campaigns and Social Media Contests. Sponsorship opportunities ranging from $500 to $7500 are available.
Trivia Challenge: March 2021
Come join the Alliance for a fun evening of trivia, cocktails, dinner and a silent auction! Watch for our Save the Date announcement and start forming your trivia teams. Please consider donating an item to the silent auction or volunteering to help with this event.
Fairfield County’s Giving Day: February 25, 2021
Each year the Alliance participates in FC Giving Day, a 24-hour on-line fundraising challenge. Since all gifts of $10 or more count towards prize money, this is a great opportunity for teachers, administrators, recent graduates and other community members to support the Alliance.
