School competition closes Thursday, Nov. 27. Cos Cob & Parkway are in a close battle – time is running out to put your  school in the lead!

Registration Information
  • REGISTER NOW!  Price increases on race day. 
  • T-shirts guaranteed for all participants registered by Sunday, November 9th and picked up by 9:00 AM on race day. All others as supplies last.
  • Run For Your School Competition: the Greenwich schools with the highest participation percentage & the largest number of runners will win the Turkey Trot Trophies, be photographed and celebrated by all.  School competition closes Thursday, Nov. 27.
  • Sign up to fundraise on behalf of the Alliance; ask family and friends to sponsor your participation in the Turkey Trot.
  • Form a team and run with your extended family, a group of friends, sports team, club, etc.
Race Information
    • Scenic flat loop in Bruce Park
    • Bib tag system for certified 5K race; time begins when cross starting pad
    • Performance material race t-shirts for 1 mile and 5K participants
    • Mini Trot – ages 3-5, “run” through race chute across the finish line, t-shirts/no bibs, stickers awarded at the end, adults watch from sidelines, no strollers, bikes/trikes, etc — this is a fun “race” for the little ones!
    • 1 Mile – medals awarded at the finish line to all youth completing the race
    • 5K – medals & prizes for top race finishers in a variety of categories
    • 5K award ceremony after the runners/walkers are finished, approximately 11:15 am
    • Warm-up and stretching starts at 9:10 am
    • Post-race hospitality tent with food & beverages and DJ music!
    • Race course maps: 2025 Certified 5K map, 1 Mile map   
    • No dogs – please leave your furry friends at home
    • FAQs – including parking information, t-shirt/bib pick times, race logistics, etc.

  • Showcase your business or family name and join us as a 2025 sponsor at the largest community event of the Thanksgiving weekend. 
  • Over 2500 runners and spectators participate and thousands more receive the news!

  • Volunteer at the Turkey Trot! On Nov. 28 & Nov. 29, we need course marshals, check-in, set-up/breakdown help and more.  Community service credit given.
