Hi Friends, Did you see our e-blast about THE Party 6.10.23? Come rock out to the Kovac Brothers to "Celebrate 10 Years of College Dreams." Hmmm, what does this mean? The AVID Class of 2023 marks 10 years of AVID graduating classes. This is a huge accomplishment for the Greenwich Public Schools, the AVID educators, the 300+ AVID graduates and, of course, our community, as we have volunteered, invested and rallied together around AVID to make sure all students have an equitable access to pursue a college education. Registration is open for VR/AR STEAM Camp taught by Gaspare Lipari, Distinguished Teacher 2023, who has extensive experience with XR (AR & VR) technologies and strong relationships in the XR Education industry. Week-long immersive camp experiences focus on innovation and creativity! Hope Day - Smash the Stigma around mental illness! Singing, dancing, meditating, and much more took place at Arch Street on April 23. Stemming from the launch of the Yellow Tulip Project and the planting of tulip gardens around town last fall, this first annual Greenwich event showcased the many local mental health resources available to our children and families. Congratulations to Greenwich Together, PTA Wellness Committee, GHS Outreach Club, the First Selectman's Youth Commission and all of the other agencies on this very meaningful day.
